The Witness challenge, called “Coordinated Efforts,” is part of the Salvation’s Edge raid in Destiny 2. This challenge requires players to work together closely, which can actually make the encounter easier.
Understanding the Coordinated Efforts Challenge
To complete the Coordinated Efforts challenge, players must destroy all of the Witness’s glyphs (buttons) within a few seconds of each other. The key to this challenge is timing and coordination. Each player needs to have the Glyphbreaker buff, which allows them to break a glyph. Since there are six glyphs, at least six players need to participate.
Strategies for Success
There are two main strategies to tackle this challenge:
- Each Player Breaks One Glyph: The simplest method is for each player with the Glyphbreaker buff to destroy one glyph. The team should communicate and coordinate their attacks so that all glyphs are broken almost simultaneously.
- Few Players Break Multiple Glyphs: An alternative strategy is to have a few players, typically three, break two glyphs each. This can be accomplished by slightly damaging the glyphs in advance. When the time comes, these players deliver the final blow to their assigned glyphs, breaking them at nearly the same time.
The advantage of breaking all the glyphs quickly is that only one Subjugator enemy will spawn, as opposed to one per glyph if they are destroyed separately. This reduces the number of enemies to deal with, making the encounter easier.
Rewards and Benefits
Completing the Witness challenge grants an additional reward, along with the Triumph titled “Coordinated Efforts.” Achieving this Triumph also increases the drop rate of the raid Exotic, Euphony.
For players looking to optimize their strategy and improve their chances of success in this and other raids, challenges, and dungeons, a comprehensive strategy guide can be a valuable resource. This challenge not only tests team coordination but also enhances the overall raid experience by offering unique rewards.
